Jimmy’s Iced Coffee
Jimmy’s Iced Coffee is an amazing brand to work on, and we like to focus the PR in two key ways by separating Jim’s profile as a successful entrepreneur from the Jimmy’s brand story.
Our first project for Jimmy included PR support for “Keep Your Chin Up”, the summer marketing campaign he created with innovation consultancy Fearlessly Frank. Channel 4’s Sales Director found out about the viral video after reading an interview in Campaign magazine and, as a result, Jimmy was invited to be one of the first startups to air branded content in an E4 advert break. The press office team worked closely with the media and marketing department, and to great effect. The video received over a million views.
We’re now securing exposure for Jimmy’s follow-up video, “Who Got the Beans”, and taking the new 1 litre carton and limited edition gingerbread carton to trade and consumer press. Working with Jimmy and the brand allows us to speak to food and drink, coffee, startup/entrepreneur, lifestyle, Bournemouth and broadcast media. In the past year, our favourite articles have included a full page in The Times showing Jim as a startup disruptor, and an interview on Monocle Radio’s “Entrepreneur” show earlier this year.
